BACK OFF - Where did the inspiration come from?

Where did the ‘BACK OFF’ design come from?

The inspiration came to me from my daughter Lizzie. I had previously created the design for autistic children with a cartoon rocket saying ‘Please give me space’ and decided to create a more bold grown up version, but it was too polite, too many words, not to the point enough!

If I know one thing Lizzie likes to say everything as simply as possible and that is so refreshing to me, the woman who could talk the hind legs off a donkey! So I kept playing and showed her my new design ‘BACK OFF’ and she giggled! Result!

Little did I know that it would be taken over by people with low immune systems or autoimmune diseases like Sam Bromfield who has Multiple Sclerosis and had not long since gone through the HSCT and others just like her. 

It’s one of my core designs now and so special to me.
