Something Profound- Calling All Spoonies, We're Starting a Movement

A Collaboration for Spoonies alike
So, as you know, if you've had a nosy at my collaborations before, I've done a fair few collaborations already, Unite Club, AuDHDacious Humans, AuDHD or Just a Bit Weird, and they've all been brilliant, but if I'm honest most of them have leaned heavily neurodivergent. And that makes sense, that's a big part of my own life. But it means the chronic illness side of what I do, the reason I started Something Profound, the side that's me, MS and all, hasn't had the same spotlight.
So this one's for us. The spoonies. The "I look fine but I'm running on 2 spoons and an extra cup of coffee" gang. I want to work with people living with a chronic illness, just like me, who've got a funny, honest, "only someone who gets it would understand" design idea in them, and want to see it made real. Not just made real either, made into something that gets people talking, that starts a proper movement, that has people tagging their mates going "this is SO you."
Here's what I'm looking for
You're living with a chronic illness, and you understand that mix of dark humour and defiance that gets you through the rough days. You don't need a diagnosis list as long as your arm to prove it, you just need to get it. All they ups and downs that come with having a hidden illness.
You've got some kind of following already, whether that's a decent following on social media, or maybe you've already got a small business on the go and fancy adding another string to your bow. I'm not after huge numbers, I'm after people with a genuine community and connection with people around them who trust what they've got to say.
You're UK based. Has to be, purely so the logistics of all this actually work. Though I do sell outside of the UK it's not my target to be international (just now anyway)
You've got an idea. A design, a phrase, an in-joke your community already says to each other, something you've thought "someone needs to put that on a t-shirt" about. And you're happy to actually get out there and share it with the people who already know and trust you, because that's how we build something together, not me shouting into the void on my own.
You want to build something, not just sell something. This isn't about a quick collab and then nothing. I want people who want to create a proper movement, who want to get people talking about chronic illness and neurodivergence in a way that's funny and real and not wrapped up in the social norms that only someone who lives a healthy/able life is comfortable hearing about.
Why I'm doing this
I'm one mum, running this from the North East, with MS and a house full of neurodivergent brilliance (mine included, let's be honest). I can't do everything alone, and honestly, I don't want to. Something Profound is stronger with more voices in it, more experiences, more of that "finally, someone else gets it" feeling that only comes from someone who's actually lived it day-in-day-out.
If this is you, or you know someone it sounds like, get in touch. Reach out and tell me who you are and let's connect and bring something amazing to life!
